"I had the bacon and cabbage boxty; a delicate crepe enfolding a center of ham and cabbage in a rich, creamy sauce. It was spectacular!"
"Portions are large enough here as we found out with our mains: the Corned Beef Boxty (tender slow-cooked Corned Beef with Sautéed Cabbage and Kale in a parsley sauce in a Boxty Pancake). Terrific flavour on the plate as well."

"Boxty House serves a coddle so good that it deserves an ode."
"The restaurant was packed, clearly a local favourite and a dream of a spot for those looking to indulge in traditional Irish pub fare."
on Boxty
"The “Corned Beef Boxty” was a revelation covered as it was in a creamy leak and corned beef sauce. The boxty itself was quite a light texture with the common potato pancake flavour. Absolutely delicious."
"It was rich, filling, and comforting, the saltiness of the corned beef hit the spot for me. The boxty was fluffy and challenged my expectations of what an Irish potato can do, besides being mashed, roasted, or fried."
"Very tasty 'Traditional Corned Beef Boxty' - thick cut slices of Paddy Smith's Corned Beef served with a Rich Parsley Sauce, sauteed Cabbage and Champ Potato. Delicious!!"
"The simple presentation of the meal, with Killarney potatoes on the side and warm brown bread with butter, understates the flavor that bursts from the Gorgonzola cream sauce. This is a meal I will return for."
"Gaelic Boxty with Irish beef medallions and onions in a Leitrim boxty pancake, drenched in delicious mushroom and whiskey sauce. Very Irish, as its name suggests. Very, very good."
"This place had AMAZING food and it was a great introduction to the delicious foods of Ireland. I was very surprised by how scrumptious every meal was. The corned beef was very lean and the other ingredients and sauce were to die for."

"Brilliant modern and traditional takes on a old dish, with great service and excellent craft beers. The location is Temple Bar but it’s not your usual drunken tourist fare. It’s clever, homey and modern. The seafood board is also excellent."
