Recommendations

"Thanks to their sensational shawarma, it's no surprise Hakosem’s always bustling with customers."
"HaKosem means “the magician” in Hebrew–an apt name for the magical fare served up at this small eatery for more than a decade. The secret? Fans says the shawarma here is served with the perfect amount of fat."
"The joint is famous for its falafel and sabich but their shawarma is also awesome – turkey based, soft and juicy, sliced thin."
"The place is not a regular Falafel shop: it serves a variety of Israeli street food such as Shawarma (again, one of the best in the city)."
"Though they are famous for their falafel and hummus, you must try their shawarma as well. I recommend you try the lamb shawarma, each serving includes extra crispy brown lamb meat, which provides amazing juicy flavors, thanks to the lamb fat which is dripping on the meat from above. Each shawarma is served in a handmade pita with fresh hummus, green salads, spicy onions, cucumbers, garlic and to top it off, they add their famous falafel balls on top of this tasty delight in a pita."
"HaKosem, serves excellent falafel and shwarma, in pita, laffa or simply on a plate. The combination plates which they offer are large and great value for money."
"Hakosem offers dreamy shawarma. Incredible Shawarma at Hakosem."
"If you Google "best shawarma in Tel Aviv", the name Hakosem is bound to pop up close to the top of any list. They serve superb shawarma. It was quite large but fresh, juicy, flavorful and delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned."
"Shawarma Hakosem takes the 1st place with no battle. Even though it is not open in the late night hours (not the perfect munch) it still is number one. Why? Because everything the place has to offer, from falafel to shawarma is done with a bit of extra magic of perfection."
"Good shawarma in the city center."

"My favourite shawarma in Tel Aviv, especially on top of hummus. Strongly spiced with coriander, it was warm but, importantly not too hot."
