20th Century

Named after the Twentieth Century Limited train, which ran between New York City and Chicago from 1902 to 1967, this cocktail is made with a combination of gin, Lillet Blanc, white crème de cacao, and fresh lemon juice. In order to prepare it, all ingredients should be shaken with ice for about ten seconds, then strained into a chilled coupe glass.

The cocktail is traditionally garnished with a lemon twist. It was invented in 1937 by C. A. Tuck, a British bartender.
