Vodka Sunrise

Vodka Sunrise is a simple American cocktail made with a combination of vodka, grenadine, and orange juice. In order to prepare it, vodka and orange juice are first mixed in a highball glass, then topped with grenadine, and the cocktail is ready to be served.

The color layers give it a unique visual appearance, reminiscent of sunrise, hence the name. If desired, Vodka Sunrise can be garnished with a cherry or an orange slice.
