Txakoli Ameztoi

Txakoli Ameztoi is a family-owned winery located in Getaria, Spain, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1820. Situated on a hillside overlooking the Cantabrian Sea, the winery offers spectacular panoramic views of the Basque Coast. For five generations, the Ameztoi family has specialized in producing Txakoli, a traditional Basque white wine.

They utilize indigenous grape varieties, Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza, to craft their wines, maintaining authentic regional flavors. The winery's 51 hectares of vineyards are cultivated using the "parral" system, allowing the vines to benefit from the coastal climate.
