Tursan Blanc | Local Wine Appellation From Landes, France | TasteAtlas

Tursan blanc

White Tursan wines are produced in the namesake region located in the French Gascony. Administratively, the appellation is shared between Gers and Landes regions. The principal grape varieties used in the production of these straw-colored wines are Gros Manseng, Sauvignon Blanc, and Baroque.

These lively and aromatic wines usually display aromas of white fruit and flowers that are reminiscent of verbena, linden, and citrus fruits. White Tursan wines are best enjoyed young and are a perfect accompaniment to grilled fish and other seafood specialties.
