Hoof & Lur is a unique rosé dry wine from Troupis Winery, crafted exclusively from 100% Moschofilero grapes grown in the Litharakia vineyard at 640 meters altitude in the Mantinia region of Greece. Inspired by traditional methods, the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and extended skin contact, resulting in a natural, unfiltered expression with minimal sulfites.
Troupis Winery is a family-owned winery located in the heart of the Mantinea Plateau, in the Fteri region of Tripoli, Greece. Established in 2010, the winery has its roots in viticulture dating back to the 1970s, when the family began cultivating Moschofilero vineyards.
Situated at an altitude of approximately 700 meters, Troupis Winery specializes in producing high-quality wines, particularly from the native Moschofilero grape variety. The winery employs innovative winemaking techniques, including the use of ceramic containers, concrete tanks, and oak and acacia barrels, as well as fermentation with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention.
