Gorwydd Caerphilly is a distinguished cheese produced by Trethowan Brothers. This cheese is traditionally made using unpasteurised cow's milk and matured for two to three months, allowing a natural rind to develop that adds depth to its taste. The cheese features a firm and lemony core with a creamy, more savory layer just beneath the rind, often referred to as the 'breakdown'.

This aging process, longer than that of typical Caerphilly cheeses, results in a mature cheese with rich, layered flavors.
