The estate's name, meaning "Estate of the Seven Bridges," references the seven bridges that span the Arno River on the route from Florence to Arezzo. Notably, one of these bridges, the Buriano Bridge, is depicted in Leonardo da Vinci's famous "Mona Lisa" painting.
