Stefano Amerighi is a winery located in the Cortona area of Tuscany, Italy. It was established with the goal of producing premium Syrah wines through family tradition, a passion for winemaking, and the application of biodynamic principles. In the winemaking process, Stefano Amerighi employs traditional methods, including hand-harvesting and foot-treading of grapes, without the use of chemical additives or corrective agents.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously, without the addition of selected yeasts or temperature control, in small concrete vats. The wine is aged in wooden and concrete vessels for approximately 14 months and is then bottled without filtration or stabilization.
