House of Smith

House of Smith is the largest independent winemaker-owned winery in Washington State, with wines sold in all 50 U.S. states and 23 countries worldwide. Founder and head winemaker Charles Smith began his career over 20 years ago, selling 330 cases of his first wine, the 1999 K Syrah, from the back of his 1987 van.

Today, House of Smith encompasses a diverse portfolio of brands, each with its unique vision and approach: K Vintners, specializing in small-lot wines made from varieties like Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Tempranillo, and Sangiovese, showcasing the authenticity of vineyards and terroir; SIXTO, dedicated exclusively to crafting premium Chardonnay wines; CasaSmith, a collection of wines made from Italian grape varieties grown in Washington, blending tradition and innovation; and Golden West, the newest addition to the portfolio, focused on creating exceptional Pinot Noir wines.
