Savage & Cooke Bourbon Whiskey is a distinctive spirit crafted by winemaker Dave Phinney. The bourbon is produced using grains grown within 50 miles of the distillery, with yellow corn comprising the majority of the mash bill, complemented by rye and malted barley.
After distillation, the bourbon is aged for a minimum of three years in White American Oak Char #3 barrels, hand-crafted by local cooper Seguin Moreau. A portion of the bourbon is then finished in Phinney's Cabernet Sauvignon barrels for about two months, adding additional flavor, texture, and character.
