Savage & Cooke's Bloody Butcher Bourbon Whiskey is a Bottled in Bond expression crafted from 70% Bloody Butcher corn, an ancient heirloom grain known for its intense flavor and structure. The remaining mash bill consists of 16% Red Winter Wheat, providing a velvety texture, and 14% malted barley, adding structure and flavor.

The corn is cultivated in Winters, California, approximately 35 miles from the distillery, chosen for its nutrient-rich soil, optimal sun exposure, and water access. The bourbon is aged for four years in Seguin Moreau char #3 barrels, imparting toasty oak and vanilla notes.

Bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), it presents aromas of ground cinnamon, dried orange peel, and lilac blossoms, with a palate featuring deep caramel and a long, unctuous cherry finish with pronounced minerality. This limited release comprises only 44 barrels.
