2020

Sauska 5 Puttonyos Aszú 2019 is a premium sweet white wine from the Tokaj-Hegyalja region in Hungary. This wine is crafted from hand-picked, botrytized grapes, primarily Furmint and Hárslevelű varieties, which are traditional to the Tokaj area. The term "5 Puttonyos" indicates a high level of sweetness, achieved by adding five baskets of aszú (noble rot-affected) berries to a base must.

The 2019 vintage presents a rich golden color and offers complex aromas of dried apricots, honey, and orange zest, complemented by floral notes. On the palate, it delivers a harmonious balance between its sweetness and acidity, showcasing flavors of ripe stone fruits, citrus, and a touch of minerality, leading to a long, elegant finish.
