Recommendations

"For more authentic yet still affordable bites and sips, head over to Pulitzer near Christopher’s Gate in Old Town and try their Bryndzove Halusky: Traditional Slovak Dumplings. Delish!"
"The Slovak national dish is called Bryndzové halušky (spaetzle – a type of pasta). The pasta is covered with Bryndza (a sheep cheese) and bacon. Good thing we got a beer with it this time. The food might have looked a little strange on the plate, but it was delicious, rich and very filling. I did not finish the portion."
"Try Halušky, a unique and filling sheep cheese dumpling and bacon fat dish that historically fueled Slovak farmers through their working days."
"Here you eat delicious bryndzové halušky, the Slovak national dish par excellence. These are small potato gnocchi topped with a bryndza sauce, a typical local sheep's cheese, and fried bacon cubes."
