Murray River salt

Murray River salt is a traditional salt originating from the Murray Darling Basin region of North West Victoria. This is Australia's only naturally pink salt. The pale pink hue of the salt is a result of the mineralized brines that are high in calcium, magnesium, iodine, and potassium.


The salt flakes are known to be fragile and soft, with a delicate flavor. It's recommended to sprinkle the salt flakes over green salads or use them for seasoning seafood and meat. Murray River salt can also be used in sweet dishes with dark chocolate and salted caramel.
