Miel de Galicia is a honey produced in the Autonomous Community of Galicia. It is a single or multi-flower honey made from the nectar of eucalyptus, chestnut, blackberry and heather. The honey from Galicia can be sold in the variety of forms; liquid, crystallized or creamy, with or without the combs.
This honey comes in a wide range of colors, from light yellow to deep amber, depending on its floral origin. The flavor, consequently, also depends on the spectrum of pollen used in the honey and ranges from mellow to bitter with almost waxy notes.
