Mezze Penne

Mezze penne is a variety of Italian pasta that is prepared in the same way as regular penne, just a bit shorter and stubbier, while the ends are always cut off diagonally. The ridges and a large diameter of the pasta makes it ideal for holding sauces both on the inside and on the outside.
