Melón de Torre Pacheco-Murcia

Melón de Torre Pacheco-Murcia are the melons of the Saccharinus Naud. variety and Piel de Sapo type grown in the province of Murcia. These melons are green with dark spots and stripes evenly distributed along the surface of the fruits.

This extremely sweet and succulent fruit is harvested from July to October which means it is only in season for four months. The melons are cut by hand, categorized according to their size and packaged and distributed in wooden or cardboard boxes.
