Manzana Reineta del Bierzo

Manzana Reineta del Bierzo are apples of the Reineta Blanca, Reineta del Canada and Reineta Gris varieties produced in the Bierzo district, in the north-east of the Province of Leon.

This apple is very fragrant and aromatic, with intense flavors reminiscing those of grass, vanilla, and ripe fruits. Manzana Reineta del Bierzo is very juicy and crunchy, but the most interesting fact about this variety is its peculiar dark green color with brown spots.
