Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2018 is a distinguished white wine crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes, sourced from the esteemed Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru vineyard in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France. The vineyard's stony limestone soil and southeast exposure contribute to the wine's exceptional quality.

In the glass, this wine presents a pale yellow color. The nose is intense, offering notes of white stone fruits such as white peach, fresh hazelnut, vanilla, almond paste, and roasting. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with vanilla complemented by aromas of fresh almond and lime blossom, leading to a fine aromatic aftertaste with subtle saline notes.

About Maison Louis Latour

Maison Louis Latour is a distinguished family-owned winery in Burgundy, France, with a history dating back to 1797. The Latour family's involvement in viticulture began even earlier, in 1731, with their first vineyard acquisition in the Côte de Beaune.

In 1832, Maison Louis Latour constructed the Corton Grancey Cuverie in Aloxe-Corton, the first purpose-built winery in France. Ingeniously designed over five levels into a hillside, it utilizes gravity for the winemaking process, minimizing the need for pumps and preserving the wine's integrity.

The winery specializes in crafting elegant wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, reflecting the unique terroirs of their vineyards. Their commitment to quality is evident in their meticulous vineyard management and winemaking practices.
