Altos de Losada's La Bienquerida 2021 is a distinguished red wine from the Bierzo region in Spain. Crafted predominantly from Mencía grapes, this wine originates from a small, historic vineyard known as "La Bienquerida," which was planted in 1906.
The vineyard, nearly lost to time, has been meticulously restored by Losada Vinos de Finca. On the nose, La Bienquerida 2021 presents an elegant and complex bouquet, featuring black fruits such as plums and blackberries, complemented by floral notes and subtle hints of sweet spices, licorice, and leather.
Mineral undertones further enhance its aromatic profile. The palate is frank and savory, showcasing excellent acidity and a creamy tannin structure. It exhibits a generous amount of fruit, which lingers for a long and satisfying finish.
