Jim Beam is a bourbon whiskey that's been produced in Clermont, Kentucky, since 1795. It's made primarily with corn mash, the minimum being 51%. Johannes "Jacob" Beam first created the brand and the whiskey, and to this day, seven generations of the Beam family have been involved in the production.
And although they sold the company in 1945, members of the Beam family are still heavily involved in whiskey making. Today, Jim Beam is among the best-selling bourbon whiskies in the world. The brand has several kinds of straight bourbon whiskey on offer.
