"I ordered the marinated soft boil egg, and this comes with the shell and a packet of salt. You will have to peel your own egg, but it’s worth it! The broth is rich and flavourful, and the noodles are thin and firm, just the way I like it. The selling point here is the spicy sauce, which is not numbing spicy, but extremely flavourful instead. Even if you don’t like spicy, like S, he still really enjoyed the broth on its own.
"Now if it’s about taste, I believe Ichiran ramen is up there with the best. Their Hakata style, zesty tonokotsu broth is not too creamy or thick. It’s is topped off with a dash of their signature spicy red sauce. Ichiran serves up amazing bowls of tonkotsu ramen. There’s a reason why they’re so popular and have seen so much success. "The best out of the three we’ve had is Kyushu ramen at a chain called Ichiran. The Ichiran ramen is so good that the entire restaurant sells only ONE type of ramen. The soup is tonkotsu (pork broth based). The process of ordering is an experience in itself! If you’re in Tokyo, you must try Ichiran ramen! The ramen was so delicious."
