Hadaka Soba | Traditional Noodle Dish From Japan | TasteAtlas

Hadaka soba

(裸蕎麦, Naked Soba)

Hadaka soba is a traditional noodle dish. It’s made with soba noodles, which are made from buckwheat. This type of soba is probably the purest in form – hadaka means naked, referring to the fact that the noodles are cooked and served on their own, without any toppings or broth.

Hadaka soba is always served cold, and the dish is favored amongst soba purists.
