Genshu

Although traditional sake varieties are usually diluted with water before they are bottled, genshu is a unique sake style that is never tempered with the addition of water, resulting in a drink that mainly has a slightly higher alcohol content, typically around 20% ABV.

Genshu is usually full-bodied and displays more concentrated flavor and aromas. It can be enjoyed neat, at room temperature or gently heated, but it can also work well cold or served on the rocks.
