Florette is a French cheese produced by the Guilloteau creamery in the region of Rhone-Alps. The cheese is made with goat's milk and has a characteristical bloomy rind. Although Florette is produced in a few sizes, they are all hexagonal-shaped.
The flavors are mild, delicate, and creamy, unlike most goat cheeses that usually have a tangy and sharp flavor. It is recommended to serve Florette with crusty bread, mushrooms, potatoes, and fresh or dried fruit. Pair it with light, fruity ales or sparkling wines.
