Feuille Morte

(Dead Leaf)

Typically served in a collins glass, Feuille Morte is a French cocktail made with a combination of pastis, grenadine, and mint syrup. In order to prepare it, the ingredients should be poured into a glass, and the cocktail is served with chilled water in a small jug so that the customers can dilute Feuille Morte to their taste.

Lastly, ice is added to the glass, if desired. The name of this cocktail literally means dead leaf, referring to its color. Interestingly, Feuille Morte is considered to be a great follow-up to the classic Gin and Tonic.
