Recommendations

"If you like gringas (wheat tortillas, pork and cheese), these old pros have been in the biz for 30 years."
"What I found most delicious was their appropriately named Gringa taco."
"I tried a Gringa, a flour tortilla with cheese, al pastor meat, and pineapple on top. It was a life-changer."
"Their gringa is amazing."
"The taste of the meat and sauces is great, the gringas are beyond this world."
"The best here are the gringas, one of the most popular in the city."
"Their claim to fame is the Gringas taco which is served on a large flour tortilla with heaps of pastor, cheese, pineapple. It is then grilled so the cheese is crispy and delicious. I absolutely loved this taco. The cheese added another layer of flavor that was incredible."
"The taco was absolutely amazing! One of my favorite dishes of the entire trip!"
"We recommend the gringa pastor – pork pastor marinaded meat and lots of quesillo cheese squashed between two toasted tortillas."
"El Vilsito is one of the best for al pastor. The heavily spiced pork is shaved off a vertical spit with machetes and folded into tacos with a sliver of pineapple, chopped onion, and cilantro. If you want cheese, order a gringa, a flour tortilla that sandwiches the al pastor with cheese. Salsa sits in hulking molcajetes on the counter."

"The best al pastor tacos I’ve ever had. The place is unique in that it’s a mechanic’s workshop during the day and a taqueria at night. The meat is of good quality, with an excellent marinade. Just as al pastor tacos should be. Don’t miss out on trying them with pineapple, cilantro, and onion, and of course, on a corn tortilla."
