Echigozakura Sake Brewery

Echigozakura Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. is a Japanese sake brewery located in Agano City, Niigata Prefecture. It was founded in 1890 under the name Shirai Shuzo in what was then Suibara City (now part of Agano City). In 1993, it became part of the Sekaitaka Koyamaya Group.

The brewery underwent a complete renovation in 2009, equipping itself with state-of-the-art technology while preserving traditional sake brewing techniques. Situated in a rich natural environment, surrounded by the Agano River and the Gozu Mountains, the brewery is nicknamed "Hakucho-gura" or "Swan Brewery" due to its proximity to Lake Hyōko, a famous wintering site for large numbers of swans.
