"Dar Poeta Pizza, “Parmigiana” senza melanzane. There is no logical scientific reason for my unwavering love for this place except for the fact that the pizza is laced with crack."
"Located in Trastevere (arguably the most picturesque neighborhood in all of Rome) Dar Poeta's pizza does not have the classic Roman thin crust. Rather, it is a cross between the Roman and Neapolitan styles, medium in thickness, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I recommend Parmigiana pizza (mozzarella and eggplant)."
"We got lucky with a table outside on a Friday night at Dar Poeta. If it looks busy, try anyways. The pizza is cooked so quickly that tables turn over fast. The pizza is Roman-style. This means the base is thin and the crust is crispy. It’s not too filling or greasy. We have Parmigiana with tomato, mozzarella and grilled eggplant."
