Char Masala

Char masala is a unique Afghan spice blend consisting of equal parts cumin, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper. Although it can be used in various vegetable, fish, and meat dishes, it's mostly associated with Afghan rice dishes, more specifically, pilafs.
