Le Clos Saint-Hilaire 1996 is an exceptionally rare and exclusive cuvée from the House of Billecart-Salmon, embodying the pinnacle of winemaking craftsmanship and the strength of a single terroir. This remarkable Blanc de Noirs Champagne is made exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, harvested from a single hectare of the historic Clos Saint-Hilaire vineyard, planted in 1964 in the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.
In the glass, this Champagne dazzles with its golden hue and fine, persistent bubbles. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of acacia honey, ripe pear, acacia blossom, biscuit, and delicate spice notes. On the palate, it delivers a full, rich taste layered with white pepper, roasted nuts, and elegant mineral tones, culminating in a long and refined finish.
