Bonnes-Mares is a grand cru vineyard located in Côte de Nuits region (Côte-d’Or). The principal grape variety in the region is Pinot Noir, and the wines are typically full-bodied, concentrated, and can age exceptionally well.
Since the region expands over different terroir, the final taste profile can slightly vary, resulting in lighter and more elegant wines in Chambolle-Musigny or more tannic expressions in Morey-St-Denis. These rich wines pair well with meat, especially roasted game, and strong-flavored cheese.
