"They were sold out of everything but the “Sweet,” a monthly special veal burger with garnishes that were vaguely inspired by Vietnamese Bánh Mì sandwiches, to wit, carrots, pepper and mint, but also grilled Parmesan shavings, chorizo (which I never found) and arugula. Even though I’d have liked this magnificent mound of meat cooked much rarer, this little baby turned out to be a beauty of a burger, and the fries were terrific, too."

"A beautifully designed modern restaurant with the room feeling elegant yet relaxed and informal all at once. They bake all their own buns and keep the burger size perfect without overloading it with toppings. Super tasty and cooked to perfection every single time."

"Not everyone sees the merits of a Blend burger but in my experience, these are the people who are expecting a greasy stomach bomb - in other words, an authentically American burger. These are decidedly tidier and more refined and absolutely worth a special visit."

"Meet the Cheesy, which features a beef patty cooked rare (our server didn’t even ask our preference), topped with melted cheddar, barbecue sauce, bacon, lettuce, and sweet pickles. It braids together tangy, sweet, and savory, balancing the three on a perfectly spongy brioche bun, the kind of bready vehicle you fantasize about if you spend your spare time daydreaming about the perfect hamburger."

"The initial bite of the ‘Sweet’ burger (veal mince, with Chorizo and carrot, mint and pepper relish) was very satisfying, with alternately crisp and squishy layers of cheese, salad, salsa and bun. The toppings on the ‘Signature’ burger (beef mince with blue cheese, apple, bacon and onion chutney) also worked together perfectly; and the fries were some of the best we’d tasted in Paris, with just the right balance of crunch and fluffiness."

"The burgers are great – but the “touche special” is the sweet potato fries!"

"What a treat! It’s one of our favorites places to eat a good old burger. The hamburgers are really good and not too greasy, the fries are on point; everything is homemade."

"Blend is a restaurant that offers a French twist on the famous American burger. The name in English signifies “a fusion of qualities”, and this is the burger spirit on offer at Blend: gourmet burgers, home-made buns, quality meat (prepared and supplied by the famous French butcher Yves-Marie le Bourdonnec), original recipes."

"The ambition of the house is clearly displayed: to offer the best hamburger in Paris. To achieve this, Blend does not skimp on quality: home-baked bread, meat (origin France) 100% Yves-Marie Le Bourdennec beef, fries, pickles and homemade ketchup..."

"Blend’s offering is not just any ordinary patty smacked into two pieces of dough. It’s made from “the best of what France has to offer”, said founder Victor Garnier. The bun is baked in advance, while the meat, which is minced right before service, is “a skilful mixture of muscle and fat” courtesy of Yves-Marie Le Bourdonnec, a butcher whom The New York Times considered one of the best in the world. Garnier chose to work with him because his “passion for meat and the meat environment is crazy”.... Read more
