Giesen Wines is a family-owned winery established in 1981 by brothers Alex, Theo, and Marcel Giesen. Originally from Germany, the brothers settled in New Zealand, where they have become one of the country's top wineries, distributing their wines in 33 countries.

The winery is renowned for its Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, which has gained international acclaim. In addition to their alcoholic offerings, Giesen has developed a range of non-alcoholic wines, including a 0% Alcohol Premium Red Wine. Giesen's vineyards are located in the acclaimed Wairau Valley, and their Marlborough winery is known for producing premium New Zealand wines.

TasteAtlas food rankings are based on the ratings of the TasteAtlas audience, with a series of mechanisms that recognize real users and that ignore bot, nationalist or local patriotic ratings, and give additional value to the ratings of users that the system recognizes as knowledgeable. TasteAtlas Rankings should not be seen as the final global conclusion about food. Their purpose is to promote excellent local foods, instill pride in traditional dishes, and arouse curiosity about dishes you haven’t tried.
