The Sadie Family Wines is a South African winery located in the Swartland region, renowned for producing high-quality wines from grape varieties characteristic of the Rhône Valley, such as Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Viognier. Founded in 1999 by winemaker Eben Sadie, the winery has gained international recognition for its flagship wines, Columella (red wine) and Palladius (white wine), which are considered among the finest South African wines.

The winemaking process utilizes various fermentation vessels, including concrete amphorae, eggs, wooden barrels, and others. Natural yeasts are employed for fermentation, and red wines are often processed in small baskets to gently extract tannins and color.
