Kakira Dark Rum is a premium spirit from Uganda, meticulously crafted by Kakira Distillery. Distilled from the finest sugar cane grown on the Kakira Sugar Estate in eastern Uganda, this rum benefits from the fertile land and temperate climate along the shores of Lake Victoria, resulting in a complex and aromatic profile.
Handcrafted in pot stills, Kakira Dark Rum is solera-aged for a minimum of five years in casks, including American Bourbon barrels. It is then charcoal filtered and bottled at 40% ABV. The rum offers rich notes of mocha, dark chocolate, raisin, banana, and honey, making it an excellent base for rum cocktails or for mixing with cola.

Kakira African Dry Gin is a premium gin from Uganda, made with high-quality juniper berries and locally sourced botanicals, including ginger, cardamom, and citrus. These ingredients are steeped and distilled in a copper pot still, creating a gin with a refreshing juniper-forward profile.
The distillery grows its own botanicals on the Kakira Estate, following a farm-to-bottle approach. The gin is bottled at 47% ABV and features notes of juniper, ginger, citrus, cardamom, and black pepper. It is best enjoyed with tonic and a slice of citrus.

Kakira Coffee Vodka is a premium flavored vodka from Uganda, crafted by Kakira Distillery. It is distilled from pure sugar cane spirit grown and processed at the Kakira Sugar Estate, located on the shores of Lake Victoria. This vodka is infused with natural Arabica coffee extracts, imparting rich flavors of coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, and dark chocolate.

Waragi Wild Crane Premium Gin is a distinguished Ugandan spirit produced by Kakira Sugar Limited. This premium gin is crafted using a traditional Ugandan "Waragi" recipe, incorporating the finest home-grown ingredients. It is infused with seven natural botanicals, including juniper, ginger, lemongrass, coriander, black pepper, bitter orange peel, and cardamom, most of which are cultivated on the Kakira Estate.
These botanicals are steeped in copper pot stills for 16 hours before re-distillation, resulting in a smooth and unforgettable drinking experience.

Our pot distilled rums are solera aged in select American Bourbon barrels and Spanish Sherry casks.

Kakira Silver Rum is a premium Ugandan spirit crafted from the finest sugarcane grown on the Kakira Sugar Estate, located on the shores of Lake Victoria at the source of the River Nile. This fertile land, combined with a temperate climate and unique terrain, contributes to the rum's complex and aromatic profile.
Distilled in pot stills, Kakira Silver Rum undergoes a solera aging process for a minimum of 30 months. Initially, the rum is aged in single-use American bourbon barrels and then transferred to Spanish sherry casks. After aging, it is carbon-filtered to remove color before bottling, resulting in a clear spirit with a rich flavor profile.
