Avellana de Reus are hazelnuts of the Negreta, Pautet, Gironella, Morella and Culplana varieties grown in the province of Tarragona since the 13th century. These nuts are always categorized by size and can be sold in a shell, shelled and roasted.
Every step of production is carefully monitored to assure the standardized product of superior quality. Avellana de Reus are larger than other hazelnuts and are usually of better quality containing significant amounts of vitamin E and healthy fatty acids.
