"If you’re not yet familiar with the Polish soup Żurek, it’s your lucky day. It is a sour rye soup and one of the most iconic of all Polish soups. This new bustling bistro is a shrine to the humble soup and you can order a big ole bowl with hard boiled eggs and/or sausages."
"Full of floral and folk touches, the atmosphere is upscale while remaining welcoming, and its popularity with tourists is well-earned. Enjoy żurek soup served in a bread bowl."
"Żurek – sensational! Strong, perfectly sour, with the aroma and aftertaste of mushrooms. Add an egg and a great, home-made white sausage. Definitely take it!"
"I ate his delicious and aromatic żur in Stary Dom."
It was hearty, properly sour, with high quality kielbasa and eggs.
Of all the restaurants I've tried, this is one of my favorites, always with that homemade taste.
As the name suggests, this is a typical Polish restaurant. So this dish is a specialty you can't miss. We had this soup as a starter but it's so well served that it might be well enough for somebody with a small appetite.
They have delicious Żurek, available also for takeout
It tastes as good as homemade Żurek :)
