Weingut Max Ferd. Richter is a family-owned winery located in Mülheim (Mosel), Germany, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1680. Currently managed by the 9th generation, Dr. Dirk Richter, alongside his son Constantin, the estate is renowned for producing world-class Rieslings from esteemed vineyards in the Mosel region.

The estate cultivates approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, including prestigious sites such as Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Graacher Dompropst and Himmelreich, Brauneberger Juffer and Juffer-Sonnenuhr, Mülheimer Sonnenlay, Helenenkloster, and Veldenzer Elisenberg.

The steep vineyard sites are characterized by grey slate soils with varying compositions, including ferruginous elements in Brauneberg, mineral quartz in Veldenz, and clay in Graach, Wehlen, and Mülheim. These diverse soil types significantly influence the character and flavor of the wines.
