Semmelwrap

Recommended by Visit Stockholm and 13 other food critics.
"Try Semmelwrap at Tössebageriet. It's got the same yummy content of almond paste and cream, but instead of a bun it's wrapped in – well yeah – a wrap."

"This is where you should get your semla, the classic Northern European sweet roll."

"It was not only comfortable, but also really good. The bread on regular rolls can dry quite a bit during the day. The wrap, on the other hand, stays soft and juicy thanks to the paper and the fact that there is filling all the way down. The almond mass is very good, clear taste of almonds, the cream fluffy and creamy, the bread soft and with an intense taste of cardamom. Tössebageriet is known for their good rolls, and I think their bread wraps immediately qualify for the top list."
"They clearly have Stockholm's tastiest semla."

"It’s almost a crime to write a guide to Stockholm’s best semlor without including Tössebageriet. Here you can eat their classic semla as it is, or served in a bowl with hot milk. In February, they’ve even experimented with several different versions of semlor, from a Danish Pastry semla to an éclair semla and even a liquorice semla. So if you want to try something different, you can find a new and exciting semla here each weekend."
"I think the semmelwrap is perfectly ok, actually beyond expectation. The bread is rolled out very thinly and baked at high temperatures for a short time. It is well worth testing."
"Fluffy cream and almond paste wrapped in thin wheat dough that can be eaten anywhere without smudges - can it get any better?"
"It was very, very delicious. Lighter than the old traditional semla, you didn't feel as "heavy" and full when you had finished it off, something I rather appreciated. Definitely worth trying out."
"This is how it should taste. The bread is fresh and fluffy with the right amount of spices, the almond mass has a perfect consistency and the cream is both finely whipped and good. Beautiful triangular cut lid and looks nice."
