"As a big fan of this delicacy, I have tried many Tortas in many variations, and very good ones, but when they invited me to the Tortas Sur 12, I can confirm that they are the best of all of them. Their strongest point is that many of the ingredients are prepared there, they bake the pork leg and the bread, which by the way is excellent, the Milanese is exclusively pork, in general, everything is prepared in an exceptional way."

"The Torta Cubana comes with four meats, pork leg, bread beef, head cheese and ham and topped with avocado, tomato, lettuce, beans and mayo. Wow! What a treat. The torta was great. I loved the spicy pork leg and the breaded beef. Both were very tender and had lots of flavor. The toasted torta bread was so soft. A great sandwich."

"This filling torta features two slices of ham, bacon and sausage, topped with pickles and swiss cheese, along with two healthy helpings of cilantro mayo and chipotle mustard. I opted for the familiar birote. The bread was perfectly toasted and had no issue holding together this hearty sandwich. While the combination of the three meats was delicious, it was the cilantro mayo and chipotle mustard that stole the show for me!"

"My go-to starting point is the tortas cubanas section—meaty monsters layered with the likes of chorizo, hot dogs, pork chops, breaded chicken and beef cutlets, fried eggs, avocado, ham, you name it—all piled on massive teleras delivered fresh each morning. For the brave, I suggest the La Seleccion Mayor, which features a whopping six meats (breaded steak, sausage, grilled pork, chicken breast, bacon, and ham) plus chipotle, cabbage, and squeaky white cheese."
