Thörle

Weingut Thörle is a family-owned winery located in Saulheim, in the Rheinhessen wine region of Germany. The Thörle family has been involved in viticulture since the 16th century, and in 2006, brothers Christoph and Johannes Thörle took over the management of the winery from their parents.

The winery focuses on classic grape varieties such as Riesling, Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), white Burgundy varieties, and Silvaner. The vineyards are cultivated according to ecological farming principles, with intensive manual work. The limestone and loess-rich soils contribute to the minerality and character of their wines.
