This recipe is an adaptation of the tequila sunrise recipe from the website of the International Bartenders Association. Goon sunrise is prepared the same way as a tequila sunrise, except that cask (white) wine is used in place of tequila.
Ingredients
4.5 cl (45 ml) (3/4 oz) cask wine (white)
9 cl (90 ml) (3 oz) orange juice
1.5 cl (15 ml) (1/2 oz) Grenadine
GARNISH
orange slice
cherry
Preparation
Step 1/3
Fill a glass with ice, then add the cask wine and the orange juice and stir.
Step 2/3
Add the grenadine and wait until it settles at the bottom, or use a spoon, and guide it down the sides of a glass, with minimal mixing.
Step 3/3
Garnish and serve.
