"A contemporary izakaya (Japanese neighborhood pub) with a playful edge, Suika is all about sliding alongside a mood-lit table under the sake-bottle chandelier and sharing inventive dishes like deep-fried Hellz chicken (recommended for ultra-spice fans)."

"It was a bit icy, creamy and thick with matcha powder flavor, but not bitter either. It's refreshing and has great texture with the crispy caramelized brulee sugar crust. I loved this and would certainly order it again. It was a delicious way to complete a very satisfying meal."

"It was absolutely divine! I think one order wasn't enough to make me feel fully satisfied with this dessert. If you combine everything together (the matcha with the red bean and whipped cream), it was just perfect... melt in your mouth perfect!"

"This is a must-try/order item! You wouldn't think it to be anything special when you're looking at the description of it on the menu but when you try it, you'll be absolutely mind blown at how you can make such an amazing dish with very simple ingredients."

"It went well with the large pieces of crispy fried chicken that was super juicy and moist inside. It was sufficiently seasoned that we really didn't need to use the salt on the side. With a squeeze of the lemon, combined with the chili mayo, it was delicious."

"This was a winner and probably my favourite dish of the night. It was a good mix of flavours including the wonderfully prepared pork belly which added richness and depth to the perfectly cooked rice."

"Corn Kakiage: like a corn tempura. My favourite dish of the night! Fresh niblets lightly battered and nicely seasoned... they were so addictive!"

"More fusion ensued with the kakuni bibimbap, featuring stewed pork belly, sweet dried shrimp and scallions on rice in a hot stone bowl that our server mixed for us. The flavours here were complex and was a nice hearty dish for winter."

"The outstanding frozen Matcha Brulee was the perfect finish to the meal."

"The Hellz Chicken S.O.S, apparently the super spicy version of Chicken Karaage, the server politely asked how everyone could handle the spice level and suggested us to have the sauce on the side. Yes the sauce was very hot, thanks to the habanero and tobacco, but it was also packed with a lot of great savory flavors. The chicken was perfectly fried and enjoyably crunchy."
