Starward's Single Barrel Captain's Pick #3 is a limited-edition single malt whisky, hand-selected by the distillery's founder, David Vitale. This expression is aged in a 2012 American oak red wine barrique sourced from Australia's Barossa Valley, imparting unique characteristics to the whisky.
Bottled at 56.3% ABV, it offers a delicate mouthfeel with notes of chamomile tea, acacia, white peaches, honeysuckle, stewed apple, rhubarb, white nectarine, and honey. This release exemplifies Starward's commitment to crafting distinctive single malt whiskies that reflect the influence of Australian wine barrel maturation and Melbourne's dynamic climate.
