Speck Festival, an annual meat festival showcasing South Tyrol's gastronomic specialty Speck, takes place in October in Santa Magdalena, Italy. At the market, local farmers sell their meat products, as well as crispy bread fresh from the oven.
Alongside various Speck specialities, visitors can also enjoy a program full of entertainment, and get the chance to watch Hans Mantinger, known as "Gleschterhans", who impresses with his Speck slicing ability.
