"Epic Chicago Sandwiches to Eat Before You Die: The Bagel Restaurant and Deli - Take a hot dog, then stuff it with cheese, wrap it with bacon and deep fry the sucker. It's full of love."

"Try the Francheezie, a jumbo Vienna hot dog wrapped in bacon and covered in cheese. It’s a Chicago original and Mother Hubbard exclusive."

"Single or Sammy-style, El Guero Canelo's Sonoran hot dog is a dining experience that warms the heart of all who consider a superior hot dog every bit as awe-inspiring as a Périgord truffle or grand cru Burgundy."

Bread, hot dog, bacon, stuffed with cheese, what else is there to say? It’s perfectly salty, extra juicy, and always served hot and fresh. By far the best Francheezie that I’ve ever had!

It is more widely known as a "Sonoran dog" because it hails from the Mexico state of Sonora. Ruiz is my favorite because of the awesome homemade salsa bar. Hot dogs are around $3

I moved to Tucson in 2021 and this was one of the first restaurants I ate at. Their Sonoran Dog portions are large and generously topped with beans, corn, and avocado. It's incredibly delicious and the ambience at the Cafe is amazing. Pairs particularly well with the Prickly Pear tea.
