Sagra del Mandorlo in Fiore, an annual festival that celebrates the arrival of spring with the blossoming of almond trees, takes place in early March in Agrigento, Italy.

Each year, numerous folk groups from all over the world take part in the festival which has, over the time, increased its cultural significance by sending messages of peace and unity. The most important event of the festival happens during the closing, when folk groups with Sicilian carts and musical bands parade from the city to the Valley of the Temples.
